Dr. Alina Beaton grew up in Southern California and attended undergraduate school, studying biology and bioethics, and medical school at the University of Southern California. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA-Olive View in Los Angeles. As a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine, she worked in primary care for several years, managing and treating patients with diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, stroke, and Alzheimer’s disease among others, before transitioning into clinical research. Having served as Principal Investigator in dozens of clinical studies, she has experience in pain, Alzheimer’s Disease, and obstructive sleep apnea research.
